Physical: 

Caelestis is of the avian race known as kashia, who are easily identified by the feathers over their ears. As a member of the blue eagle subtype, Caelestis' lean body type makes him more speed and attack oriented compared to other kashia of differing breeds.

 

All kashia have wings that allow them to fly, but they only conveniently appear when they're needed. It's unknown why kashia are able to do this, it's only certain that it's simply second nature to them- although their clothes must be custom made to accommodate their wings when necessary. Matching his ear feathers, Caelestis' wings are white and light blue.

 

The gold markings on his face are small feathers.

 

Personality

Caelestis carries a strong military presence, having been associated with the military for twenty years. As such, he's very strict and stern, having very little patience for those who do not take certain things seriously. He has a tendency of keeping himself busy at all times, finding little time for leisure, although if questioned about it, he'll claim he has plenty of time for it.

 

His serious attitude may make him come off as abrasive to some, although he is not actively seeking to make himself seem that way. He seems to rarely smile, only seeming to do so when he's around his twin sister, Almarei. His peers have often joked that Alma got all the “happy genes” from their parents, while Caeli earns such nicknames as “Captain Tightpants” for his overly serious nature. Those who can get past his strict nature and can put up with his frequent criticisms will find he cares deeply for the well being of others, and those feelings often to fuel his actions, if not a little too much at times.

 

When in charge, Caelestis carries a riding crop, which he often uses to catch the attention of a subordinate who he feels may not be paying attention. He finds the crack of a riding crop hitting a hard surface an ideal method of catching someone's attention and force them to focus on him.

 

Abilities:

 

Caelestis has trained extensively since his preteen years to master combat- melee and magic alike. He's touted as one of the most powerful individuals in the Hazaeth Kingdom, second only to his closest friend, Mobius.

 

-Magic: Caelestis is a master in the art of wind elemented magic, which he focused on learning naturally. These spells can aid in movement speed, barriers or straight up attacks. However, he's able to make use of all other types of magic (fire, lightning, ice, earth, dark and light) thanks to a set of magical cards under his control. Without these cards, Caeli's skill in the other elements is minimal.

 

Caelestis is also skilled in a “Sight” spell that makes him ideal for overseeing missions of all types; He is able to observe and contact individuals from a distance no matter how far they are, so long as they share a connection with him.

 

He is capable of healing magic, although he merely uses it to close wounds and ensure they're not life threatening to allow the injuries to heal naturally. As with all healing magic in Celveryia, using these spells to fully heal wounds will always leave a scar, no matter how minor the wound.

 

-Dreams: Caelestis sometimes has prophetic dreams, warning him of imminent major events that may happen. As a teenager, he foresaw the deaths of his mentors (an event which lead to the second war between the Hazaeth Kingdom and Xyliar Empire), and as an adult, foresaw the arrest of Xyliar's imperial princess by Hazaeth's archduchess (which allowed him and Mobius to intervene and prevent any harm from coming to the princess).

 

-Falconry: Kashia are naturally skilled in taming various avian creatures, including eagles and gryphons. Caeli himself takes up a hobby of falconry. At home in Celveryia, he has a steller's sea eagle companion named Tracy.
